Springfield Culinary and Nutrition Center

When an entire city, school district, and an international food services management company come together with the shared mission to eliminate student hunger, you can imagine the lofty construction plans it entailed. The site for those plans, however, wasn’t quite to scale. So with a big ambition having to fit a small blueprint, EDM had to think outside the box in all new ways. And in the end, the outcome was just as momentous as the intention behind it.

Berkshire Dream Center Opens Bright Morning Star Kitchen

“Teamwork makes the dream work” seems like a fitting mantra to introduce this project story — considering it all kicked off on a soccer field (well, sort of). Let’s just say, if it weren’t for EDM Principal/CEO, Jeromy Richardson’s side gig as youth travel team coach, the Bright Morningstar Kitchen may never have had its Grand Opening.

The Hotchkiss School Infrastructure Upgrades

Our work at The Hotchkiss School, an independent boarding and day school located in Lakeville, Connecticut, has always involved bringing multiple design disciplines together. EDM's integrated architectural/engineering team played an integral role in planning, designing and implementing a series of infrastructure improvements at four dormitory buildings on campus.

We Call Pittsfield Home

We were drawn to Pittsfield in search of more office space and proximity to a thriving downtown. Over the years we’ve relished in the opportunity to become engrained in the community. Take a drive around Town and you'll see our work on display, such as the 99 North Street Berkshire Bank branch and the athletic fields at Berkshire Community College. The area has undergone a transformation in recent years through significant investments in the historic downtown, and our staff of have no shortage of recommendations on area attractions!
