Town of Hadley Celebrates Senior Center Opening with Ribbon Cutting

September 30, 2021 - The Town of Hadley recently held a ribbon cutting for three public buildings: a senior center, library, and fire substation. Lt. Governor Karyn Polito attended the event and congratulated the community on their dedication and efforts in completing these projects.
The senior center is located on a single parcel of Town owned land that shares outdoor space with the public library building that was designed and constructed in parallel with the senior center. The design teams from each project worked together to create a single parcel site design that fit within the Town’s masterplan guidelines, creating a campus-like setting to the site. Hadley Senior Center includes functional spaces such as the reception area, commercial grade kitchen, dining area, administration offices, conference room, gathering area, exercise rooms, nurse's office, activity rooms and an outdoor area with seating.
