Rob Akroyd is the manager of landscape architecture at edm. He has over 35 years of experience in the fields of landscape architecture, land planning, project management, site engineering, permitting/entitlement and horticulture.
He obtained his Bachelors of Landscape Architecture & Regional Planning from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Since obtaining his degree, Rob has personally designed and managed multiple projects from concept through permitting to implementation. Projects include, but are not limited to, residential estates and master plans, design development of mixed used projects, enhancements of public courtyards and parks, and development of master plans, open space plans, and zoning regulations for various municipalities. Furthermore, Rob is CLARB Certified, which is a nationally recognized Landscape Architectural Certification board. In addition to this, he is an active member of various organizations including, American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), Boston Society of Landscape Architects (BSLA). He is currently licensed in Massachusetts, Connecticut and New York. Rob's extensive experience, credentials, and work ethic make him an exceptional Manager of Landscape Architecture at edm.
