Throughout his life, Mark has been interested in all things mechanical, which lead him to BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering at Union College and RPI, respectively.  His heart is forever with Union, however, especially when they play each other in hockey and football games.  Much of Mark’s career was spent working for corporate giants (GE, Lockheed Martin, and General Dynamics) until he accepted an opportunity to work for a true startup company in the AEC industry in 2016.  This fostered his desire to continue working for small companies within the construction industry, leading him to Enginuity Engineering & Design and now EDM. While with GE Transportation, Mark worked closely with field personnel to help solve problems with customers’ locomotive diesel engines.  These “field trips” took him to some very interesting locations, including England, Scotland, Poland, Mexico, Egypt, South Korea (3X), and Missouri.

Outside of work, Mark likes photography, live music, and spending time with his wife and three children (and their growing families), participating in alpine skiing, snowshoeing, ice hockey, hiking, cycling, and paddle boarding. His favorite holiday is Halloween, and he takes dressing up very seriously!
