Overview
This project was a multi-phased renovation and addition to an existing assisted living center, with the creation of a suite conducive to memory care as the goal. The design followed a holistic approach: developing finishes, programming and layout around the unique needs of the residents and staff to improve cognition and quality of life. The first phase consisted of renovations to the existing common area to accommodate dining and recreational spaces as well as administrative space at the juncture between two wings. An addition off the end of the existing wing will add eight more units and a large activity and sunroom space.
