Overview
The focus of this project was to create more community space in this 60 unit assisted living community. A rarely used courtyard was expanded into creating a country kitchen and large flexible activity area. A new health suite with therapy/exercise room is also located in the addition. Six additional units were accommodated in the new design, including four one-bedroom units. This project won a CT ABC (Associated Builders and Contractors) Excellence in Construction Merit Award.
