Job Summary:
The ideal candidate for this position is creative and passionate about building electrical systems, working within an integrated design team and generating sustainable solutions in all phases of a project.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Prepare electrical engineering documents and reports in collaboration with senior staff.
- Perform electrical analysis and design calculations.
- Assist with performing electrical investigations of existing structures.
- Assist in the preparation of design presentations.
- Support multi-disciplinary team in developing designs, schematic sketches/diagrams, and documentation drawings.
- Conduct building documentation and analysis for existing-conditions survey, code or sustainability.
- Manage project digital files and information.
- Utilize BIM software as a tool for design drawings.
- Perform redline changes and revisions.
- Actively seek the latest technologies related to electrical principles and practices.
- Become involved with professional and business sector organizations and associations.
- Demonstrate an active presence in the community.
Requirements:
- 0-2 years of experience
- EIT required or ability to obtain within 6-12 months
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Master’s Degree Desirable
- Experience with Revit and AutoCAD
- Interest in obtaining PE license within 4-5 years
